Second Harvest Food Bank Emergency Food Box (EFB) Program News

Pat, Linda and Pam recently attended a meeting at Second Harvest for the Emergency Food Bank managers. It was interesting to see the facility, learn about new initiatives such as community gardens and "Plant a Row for the Hungry" and share experiences with other managers.

We welcomed a team from Donelson Heights UMC that started in early March, and hope to have a team from Andrew Price Memorial UMC soon. We are just about fully staffed for all Monday mornings, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, but we always welcome new recruits!
