Choir at St. Philip's

The choir at St. Philip's is a nice, friendly and fun group of people who love to sing. We usually have between 8-10 people. We try to "make a joyous noise unto the Lord" without making huge demands on everyone's time, so we sing only for the 10:45 service, and we do not sing during the summer months.

Our weekly rehearsals September through May are on Sunday mornings at 9:30 with no rehearsal during the week except on occasion when we're preparing for the Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter seasons. Those extra rehearsals are usually on Saturday mornings.

You don't have to read music to join us; you will learn and improve by following along. This year we hope to have some music reading sessions to help newcomers who lack confidence in that area. Dates and times will be posted on this website. Please consider joining us. You can be assured that you will be welcomed.
