SECOND HARVEST EMERGENCY FOOD BOX PROGRAM
WHEN IS IT OPEN?
We serve clients:
Monday mornings from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 am
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW TO BE ELIGIBLE?
We serve Donelson (37214), Hermitage (37076), Old Hickory (37138), and the area of Lebanon Road past Briley Parkway (37210).
Clients should live in one of the four zip codes, but we do serve out of zip code clients as needed (e.g. they need food and their assigned site is not open).
Clients may pick up a food box three (3) times in a six-month period - pick ups are tracked in a computer system for all 17 Emergency Food Box (EFB) sites.
Clients are required to bring ID for each member of the household and proof of current address (driver's license or utility bill).
The EFB at St. Philip's is closed for "traditional" holidays that fall on our scheduled days (e.g. New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve/Day).
Our inclement weather policy follows Metro Davidson Public School holidays.
We provide updated resource information to our clients including other places to receive food and needed services.
