I have two questions. Is there a dress code for services? Obviously nothing very inappropriate but what else? Also, is the church or a chapel open to the public for prayer? If so what times? -Soulfire
No, there is no formal dress code for attending church. It is good to think about how we present ourselves to God and to others, though. What that looks like can vary widely, but our outward appearances can mirror somehow our inward respect for neighbors and reverence for God.
We welcome your praying in the church or chapel - we just want to be sure we can let you in, so call the church office to be sure someone is here. The unfortunate realities of vandalism to our church and others in our area has made it necessary for us to lock doors - a thing unheard of in the Episcopal Church just 25 or 30 years ago. But we do our best to make worship space available.
Thanks for your questions!
