The Counseling Center
Because St. Philip’s supports the mental, emotional, and relational health of our community, we have partnered with the counselors of The Counseling Center at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church and host their office in our church building.
The Counseling Center provides professional pastoral care and pastoral psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families deal with a multitude of issues. Pastoral Counseling brings spiritual understanding and resources as well as psychological understanding for healing and growth. However, a person need not be a member of the church, Episcopalian, or Christian to be seen in the counseling center. The counselors are comfortable working with clients of all faiths, people who have been hurt by their faith group, and those who identify with no faith. All are welcome here.
Sessions & Fees
The first session of counseling is provided without charge for any member of St. Philip’s. Other financial assistance may also be available. Depending on the current caseload the center may be able to work with clients who are not able to pay their full fee. Priority for these clients will be given to, but not limited to, members of St. Philip’s Church. Please contact the center with questions you may have about fees.
