Christian Education
Adult Education
Adult Christian education is an important part of our community life at St. Philip’s. We enjoy spending time together learning about the Bible and how it relates to our lives. Whether it is studying the Bible readings from each Sunday, studying a specific topic in the Bible, or studying more about our own Episcopal tradition, we seek to create spaces where adults can grow in their love of God and their neighbor. Children’s Education
Children’s education at St. Philip’s is one of the core priorities in our parish. Our community values our children and is always trying to find ways to encourage and grow their spiritual lives. The primary means of doing this is our Sunday school classes. St. Philip’s uses the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) method of Children’s education. Using the Parable of the Good Shepherd, following the Liturgical Calendar of the Church Year, and the Eucharist, children are offered a space to come to know God’s love for them.
